     Since it opened its doors in November 2000, Silver Moon Bakery's cakes have become neighborhood favorites, for festivities, dinners, celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and just plain pleasurable eating.  Not only are they lovely to look at, they taste wonderful, reminding you of old-fashioned baking quality.

~ ALL OUR CAKES SHOULD BE EATEN AT ROOM TEMPERATURE TO ALLOW THE FLAVOR TO UNFOLD~



Pure Decadence Chocolate Cake
Pure Decadence  Chocolate Cake - super-rich, deliciously creamy, double fudge chocolate cake filled with chocolate mouse, topped with chocolate ganache.

Polka Dot Cake
Our Newest ! Polka Dot Cake
- layers of chocolate mousse between vanilla cake, topped with vanilla butter cream and royal icing polka dots. Delightful, different. 

Sacher Torte
Sacher Torte - a classic three-layer chocolate cake with raspberry preserve filling, covered in chocolate ganache with a tiny spot of pure, edible gold leaf for decoration. 
Dulce de Leche Cake
Dulce de Leche Cake - a 3 layer vanilla cake with dulce de leche (butterscotch) filling, covered with white butter cream.

Mocha Cake
Mocha Cake - 3 layers of moist chocolate cake filled with mocha pastry cream, topped by mocha butter cream.
Tiramisu Cake
Tiramisu Cake - a light-as-air confection of eggs, cream and mascarpone cheese, covered in chocolate shavings surrounded by decorated cake stripes
Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate  Mousse Cake - pure chocolate mousse over a layer of almond dacquoise, covered with dark and light chocolate triangles.
Carrot Cake

Carrot Cake - a lightly spiced white cake filled with raisins and carrots, and the fragrance of oranges, topped by a sweet orange-scented cream cheese 

Fraisier
Fraisier - a true french version of strawberry shortcake, with fresh strawberries surrounded by light pastry and whipped creams and  vanilla cake, all covered with a thin layer of white chocolate.  (available in season or by special order)

Classic Opera Cake
Opera Cake - the classic square 3 layer genoise cake separated by mocha pastry cream, vanilla  pastry cream and chocolate pastry cream, topped with chocolate ganache.
Les Delices -a classic 3-layer french confection made with almond dacquoise in place of cake, layered with chocolate ganache, mocha buttercream, whipped cream, and topped with sliced almonds     


Red Velvet Cake - a light 2 layer cake, 4", with a delicate cream cheese filling, french style, topped with butter cream.  Perfect for an intimate dinner. With 72 hours advance notice, we can also make this cake in
6, 8, 10, 12" or sheet pan size.
